Tucked away in 4 Clinton St. between East Houston and Stanton is this darling little place that I have marked as one of my favorite brunch places in New York City–the Clinton Street Baking Company. One needs to go there early and start lining up at least 30 minutes before it opens. The line can get quite long–that’s usually a tell-tale sign that this place serves damn good food. It’s definitely worth the wait!
I have had the Spanish Scramble, blueberry and chocolate chunk pancakes. I didn’t like the latter as much–too sweet for me! But I really love their blueberry pancakes. Per their website, it was voted by the New York Magazine as the best in the city.
Check out their Pancake Month every February!
